Display assembly
To remove the display assembly, use these procedures and illustrations.
IMPORTANT: After replacing the display assembly, it is necessary to download and run the service
tool to update the new ambient light sensor (ALS) data to the system BIOS. Please search for the
related Service Advisory in WISE for details.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 34).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35).
