3. Remove the two Torx T8M2.5x11.0 screws (1) and the nine Torx T8M2.5x6.0 screws (2) that secure the
base enclosure to the top cover.
4. Remove the four Torx T8M2.5x5.0 screws inside the battery bay (1) and the three Torx T8M2.5x5.0
screws in the optical drive/upgrade drive bay (2).
5. Turn the computer right side up with the front toward you.
6. Open the computer as far as it will open.
