  If the LAN interface LED is off on your HPE Switch, first, ensure the network cable is properly connected to the switch's network port. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try inserting both ends of the network cable into two network ports on the switch. If the port LEDs remain off, the network cable may be faulty and should be replaced.
