d. Attach a retaining bracket to each side of the rear of the storage enclosure and secure them to
the rack.
8. Use the supplied SAS cables to connect the first RAID controller card in the server node (slot 3) to
the base storage enclosure.
The supplied cables are labeled on both ends with the following convention.
• N = Node (server node)
• S = Slot
• P = Port
• J = JBOD
