• Bond IP addresses—Enter the two static IP addresses that you designated for the iSCSI bond.
• Subnet Mask—Enter the subnet mask.
Choosing to continue configuration now or later
Do you want to configure provisioning, remote support, or proxy settings?
• Select Yes to continue the configuration process during this session.
• Select No to stop the configuration process and have the system configure the management IP
addresses now. You can then complete the configuration over the network at a more convenient time.
If you selected Yes, go to Setting Management Credentials to continue.
Procedure
If you selected No, the.Configuration Progress window is displayed.
1. After the management IP addresses configuration is complete, disconnect the Ethernet cable and
laptop from the controller.
2. Later, when you are ready to continue the configuration process:
a. On a laptop that is connected to the network, point your browser to the management IP address
you provided in
Network configuration.
b. To log in, enter admin as the user name and password.
c. Click Configuration Setup.
d. Navigate to the
Setting Management Credentials section and continue the Configuration Setup
process.
Setting Management Credentials
The management credentials provide access to the storage system for administrators who are
responsible for managing the system. By default the first administrator is an administrator with full
management credentials. You can define other users including read-only administrators. Tool tips help
you create a valid user name and password.
Procedure
• Username—Enter a valid user name.
• Password/Confirm Password—Enter a valid password.
