SD card & phone
storage
Check the available storage card and device memory, use the installed
storage card as a USB drive, or reset the device to its factory default
settings. See Chapter 11 for details.
Date & time Set the date, time, time zone, and date or time format. See Chapter 11

Locale & text Set your preferred language and region, and configure text settings for
faster and more accurate text input. See Chapter 3 for details.
About phone See the device status such as the network type, signal strength, battery
level, and network name. You can also open this menu to view the legal
information and software version of your device.
1.11 Adjusting the Volume
Adjusting the ringer volume changes the volume level of the device ring tone,
whereas adjusting the media volume changes the volume level of sound
notifications and music or video playback. The ringer volume and media volume
can be separately adjusted.
To adjust the ringer volume
On any Home or application screens (except during a call or when playing music/
video):
Press the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN buttons on the left panel of the
device to adjust the ringer volume to your desired level. The Ringer volume
window appears on the screen to display the volume levels.
