66 Using Phone Features and Managing Contacts
Add a new contact
To add a new contact
In the contacts list, press MENU, then touch New contact.
Open the keyboard, enter the contact’s name, then enter their contact
information such as mobile phone number, home phone number, or e-mail
address. Roll the TRACKBALL up or down to move among fields.
Note To change a default information label, for example Home e-mail to Work
e-mail, touch the information label button, then select another label on the
menu. You can also touch Custom on the menu to create another information
label that is not in the list.

to replace or
customize the
information label.
Touch here to delete
the information.
Touch here to
add a caller ID
icon.
Scroll down the screen to add more contact
information or adjust some preferences.
Touch here to select a ring
tone for the contact.
Touch here to send all
calls from this contact to
your voice mail.
Touch Save to
save the contact
information.
Touch here to add another
mobile phone number, e-mail
address, instant messaging ID,
and more.
