Procedure

Step 1 Tap

in the task bar to display the main menu and tap Settings to display the settings screen.

Step 2 Choose Advanced Settings > Conference Control Customization.

Step 3 Select the desired options and tap Save.

Follow-up Procedure

After the settings are saved, buttons corresponding to the selected options will be displayed in

the conference and site controls lists.

Tap Cancel to exit the Conference Control Customization screen.

3.5 Controlling Captions

Use the touch panel to set captions to be displayed or hidden on the local monitor.

Prerequisites

Confirm with the system administrator that the conference supports T.140 captions.

Captions is selected on the Conference Control Customization screen. For details, see 3.4.3

Customizing Conference Controls.

Context

Captions can be created, edited, and deleted from the terminal's web interface or user interface

controlled by the remote control. For details, see the HUAWEI 9000 HD Video Terminal

Administrator Guide.

Procedure

Step 1 During a multipoint conference, tap More from the home screen to display the conference

controls list, as shown in Figure 3-1.

Step 2 Tap Display Captions to display the captions shared by remote sites on the local monitor.

Follow-up Procedure

To hide the captions shared by remote sites on the local monitor, tap Hide Captions in the

conference controls list.

3.6 Recording a Conference

If the local site is chairing the conference, use the touch panel to record conferences.
