5 Controlling What You Hear
5.1 Adjusting the Volume
You can use the touch panel to adjust the local speaker volume.
Changing the volume affects only the sound you hear at your site.
Tap
in the task bar and drag the slider to increase or decrease the volume. When the slider
is dragged furthest to the left, the local speaker is muted and
is changed to .
5.2 Muting the Microphone
If you do not want a remote site to hear you, you can mute your local microphone.
Tap
from the home screen to mute the local microphone.
The microphone referred to in the section is the local microphone. The microphone referred to
in 3.4.2 Controlling a Site is the microphone of any site in a conference. If the chair site mutes
a site's microphone, it cannot be heard by other sites.
