Huawei AR160 Series - Connecting Ethernet Cables

a. Download the PuTTY software to the PC and double-click it to run the software.
b. Select Session and set Connection type to Serial.
c. Set serial port parameters.
d. Click
Open. The router copyright statement is displayed. Enter the default user
account admin and password Admin@huawei as prompted to log in to the CLI of
the router.
4.7.3 Connecting Ethernet Cables

l Do not power on the router before you finish connecting cables.
l Notice flags on interfaces when connecting cables. Incorrect cable connection may
damage interface modules or the router.
