Step 3 Insert the stripped positive and negative power cables into the positive and negative metal
terminals respectively and crimp them using a clamping tool. Ensure that the cables are
crimped until they cannot be pulled out by force less than 400 N, as shown in Figure 5-20.

Step 4 Insert crimped positive and negative power cables into corresponding insulation covers until
they snap into place, as shown in Figure 5-21.

Insert the crimped positive and negative power cables into the corresponding insulation
covers. Check that the cables are in position by slightly pulling them back.
Step 5 Reinstall cable glands on positive and negative connectors and rotate them against the
insulation covers.
t is recommended that you secure the nut by using removal wrenches, as shown in Figure
5-22.
