10.2 Installing the Sensors
This section describes how to install the sensors that are provided by Huawei. For those sensors
not provided by Huawei, refer to their installation guide accordingly.
10.2.1 Installation Position
This topic describes the installation positions of sensors.
Install sensors in suitable positions so that they can work properly. Table 10-17 lists the
installation position for each type of sensor.

Water sensor A position where water can flow into easily or a low position.
Smoke sensor In the middle of the ceiling or at the top of the equipment compartment in
the cabinet.
Door status

A position where the air flows smoothly, with the flowing speed ranging
from 0.1 m/s to 1 m/s, for example, at the top of the equipment compartment
in the cabinet.
