7.3.1 Forced Equalized Charging Test
Context
NO TICE
Before conducting a forced equalized charging test, check whether the test
requirements are met. If the requirements are met, the button for starting a forced
equalized charging test is available. Otherwise, the button is unavailable.
Before performing a forced equalized charging test, ensure that:
The mains input is normal.
Batteries are properly connected.
Batteries are not in the equalized charging state.
Procedure
Step 1 Perform a forced equalized charging test on the LCD or WebUI.
LCD
On the main menu screen, choose Control > Maintain Batteries. Tap Forced
eql. chg. and to start a forced equalized charging test.
WebUI
On the WebUI, choose Monitoring > UPS System > Running Control. Click
Start next to Forced equalized charging to start a forced equalized charging
test.
NO TE
Click Stop next to Forced equalized charging in any of the following cases:
The forced equalized charging test duration reaches the forced equalized charging
protection time (12–24 h, 18 h by default).
The UPS generates a battery overtemperature, overvoltage, or overcurrent alarm.
An alarm is generated.
