Case Symptom Possible Cause Suggestion
Inverter
abnormal
The buzzer buzzes,
the fault indicator is
on, the inverter is
faulty, and the UPS
transfers to bypass
mode.
Output overload or a
short circuit exists.
Reduce the load or
troubleshoot the
short circuit.
The power unit is
faulty:
The inverter relay
open-circuits/
short-circuits.
The output fuse is
blown.
The bus short-
circuits.
Replace the power
unit.
Charger
alarm
The buzzer buzzes,
the fault indicator is
on, and the charging
function fails.
The DC component
is overhigh.
1. Check whether
the loads are
half-wave loads.
2. If the loads are
normal, replace
the power unit.
The DC bus
experiences
overvoltage.
Check whether a
same alarm is
generated for
multiple power units.
1. If multiple power
units generate a
same DC bus
overvoltage
alarm, check
whether UPS
output backfeed
exists.
2. If only one power
unit is faulty,
replace the power
unit.
3. If the fault cannot
be located,
contact Huawei
technical support.
The charger fails. Replace the power
unit.
The charger
experiences
overcurrent.
Replace the power
unit.
