The fuel tank fill fittin

is located on the stbd. side on the
stern. The

uel tank also has a hull vent

. This

is also located on the port side near the

uel

ill. You can

The

uel tank vent serves as a pressure
/
vacuum release
and a safet
y
overflow. The vent is a thru hull fittin
g
with a
f
lame arrestor, so it is imperative that
y
ou keep
the screens clear and in excellent repair. Replace the
screen immediatel
y
if it becomes dama
g
ed or displaced.

5.2 Fuel Suppl
y
Lines and Hoses
If an
y
fuel fill or vent hose's are in need of replacement,
e
nsure that onl

pe A1 or A2 are used. The
e
n

ine has a fuel suppl
y
hose that runs from the pickup
tube in the fuel tank to the fuel water separator
(
com-
monl
y
re
f
erred to as the
f
uel
f
ilter
)
, then
f
rom the
f
ilter to
the en
g
ine. Also, the en
g
ine has a fuel return hose that
runs from the en
g
ine back to the fuel tank. If
y
our boat
has a
g
enerator, the
g
enerator will have somewhat the
same setup, with the suppl
y
and return hose. The fuel
suppl
y
lines or hoses, fittin

, and connections should be

Note: If a leak is found, turn off battery switches, disconnect
shore power, and disable any source of ignition. Do not start
your engines, the generator, or any devices that could cre-
ate a spark. Contact your dealer or our Customer Service
Department immediately! If hoses need to be replaced, make
sure only USCG Type A1 are used.
