How to fix HunterDouglas Sonnette shades that do not roll up evenly?
    • J
      Jacob CastilloSep 14, 2025
It is considered normal if the roll-up on both shades is within 5/ ' of each other. If one shade rolls up tighter than another, lower and raise both shades several times. Reset the shade.

How to fix HunterDouglas Window Blinds shading that does not respond to the remote?
    • L
      Laura SmithAug 25, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shading does not respond to the remote, make sure that the shade is joined to a group and that the correct group number is selected. The LED on that group number will light up. You can also check which group number the shade is joined to on the remote in the PowerView App under MORE > ACCESSORIES. Check if the batteries need replacement. If the batteries are completely drained, no lights will turn on. If the batteries are running low, the inner ring buttons (open, close, right arrow, left arrow, stop) light up RED. Replace the batteries. The remote takes two CR2032 batteries.

What to do if HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade does not operate using the control button?
    • J
      James GouldAug 26, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade isn't operating using the control button, try unplugging the power cable from the motor and plugging it back in; a blue LED should flash. Check the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery pack, or C-size satellite battery wand to ensure they are correctly inserted and fresh. Also, verify that the power source is securely connected and the cables aren't pinched. If you have a rechargeable battery wand, ensure it's correctly positioned in the mount.

    • M
      Matthew BraySep 23, 2025
To make the power cord accessible for a satellite battery pack or 18V DC Power Supply with your HunterDouglas Window Blinds, reroute the power cord to the back of the shade. Remove the shade from the brackets and the end cap cover on the control side. Lift the power cord through the hole in the end cap, pull it toward the top, and place it in the notch. Replace the end cap cover and reinstall the shade.

Why does my HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade raise or lower unevenly?
    • M
      Michelle RobertsSep 23, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade raises or lowers unevenly, the bottom rail isn't level, the fabric winds unevenly, or rubs against the headrail, keep the bottom rail level while raising the shade to prevent fabric skewing. Also, check if the window is square and the installation brackets are level, shimming if necessary. If the headrail is level and the window is square, adjust the bottom rail weight.
