      James GouldAug 26, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade isn't operating using the control button, try unplugging the power cable from the motor and plugging it back in; a blue LED should flash. Check the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery pack, or C-size satellite battery wand to ensure they are correctly inserted and fresh. Also, verify that the power source is securely connected and the cables aren't pinched. If you have a rechargeable battery wand, ensure it's correctly positioned in the mount.

If your HunterDouglas Indoor Furnishing shade is difficult to raise or lower, it may be because shades cannot be forced into tight inside mount window openings. If it is an inside mount, ensure there is enough space between the shade's ends and the window casement. Also, confirm that the installation brackets are level, using shims to level them if needed.
