How to fix HunterDouglas Sonnette shades that do not roll up evenly?
    • J
      Jacob CastilloSep 14, 2025
It is considered normal if the roll-up on both shades is within 5/ ' of each other. If one shade rolls up tighter than another, lower and raise both shades several times. Reset the shade.

If your HunterDouglas Indoor Furnishing shade hangs too low at the top: * For Cassette type, move the stop ball down the front of the chain to allow the shade to move further up. * For Standard/Designer Metal Bracket type, remove the shade from the brackets, lay it on a clean surface, and roll it up completely before reinstalling it.

What to do if HunterDouglas Sonnette vanes do not close fully when the shade stops in the lowest position?
    • A
      Annette RamirezSep 16, 2025
The shade should be programmed to stop in its lowest position with the vanes closed. If this distance is excessive or moves over time, open the shade to its full 'vane open' position and try again. If this does not correct the problem, reset the bottom limit.

How to fix a HunterDouglas Sonnette Indoor Furnishing center gap that is not even from top to bottom?
    • W
      wesley04Sep 15, 2025
Ensure the entire length of the headrail is straight and level. If the center portion of the headrail is higher than the ends, the center gap will close together. If the center portion of the headrail is lower than the ends, the center gap increases. If necessary, adjust the height of each bracket by moving it within the screw slots or by using shims.

Why does my HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade raise or lower unevenly?
    • M
      Michelle RobertsSep 23, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade raises or lowers unevenly, the bottom rail isn't level, the fabric winds unevenly, or rubs against the headrail, keep the bottom rail level while raising the shade to prevent fabric skewing. Also, check if the window is square and the installation brackets are level, shimming if necessary. If the headrail is level and the window is square, adjust the bottom rail weight.

Replace the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery pack, or C-size satellite battery wand. 2. Ensure the power source is securely connected and cables are not pinched. 3. Check for clearance between the shade and window casement on inside mounts. 4. Check if the fabric rolls up evenly into the headrail.

What to do if HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade does not operate using the control button?
    • J
      James GouldAug 26, 2025
If your HunterDouglas Window Blinds shade isn't operating using the control button, try unplugging the power cable from the motor and plugging it back in; a blue LED should flash. Check the batteries in the battery wand, satellite battery pack, or C-size satellite battery wand to ensure they are correctly inserted and fresh. Also, verify that the power source is securely connected and the cables aren't pinched. If you have a rechargeable battery wand, ensure it's correctly positioned in the mount.
