4. Try and start the engine. If it will not start after 15 seconds of cranking, repeat Step 3.
5. If after trying several times and the engine still will not start, contact your Hustler Dealer.
Hustler Z Diesel tractors are equipped with a fuel shutoff valve located on the lower right of the front engine guard
(FIG. 34). Rotate the valve to the right position to prevent fuel flow to the fuel pump. The middle position allows fuel to
flow from the right fuel tank to the fuel pump (shown). The left position allows fuel to flow from the left fuel tank to the
fuel pump. Close this valve to prevent fuel flow to the engine when servicing the fuel system or when transporting the
unit on a trailer or truck.
