Why Hydrotek H-8000C valve will not turn on?

  There are several reasons why the valve might not turn on: * The water supply might not be turned on, so ensure the water is on. * There could be a power supply failure. Reinstall or replace the batteries, or replace the power adapter. * The electronic PCB or sensor might be defective, requiring replacement of the electronic PCB. * The solenoid valve could be clogged, so clean the solenoid. * The solenoid coil might be defective, requiring replacement of the solenoid coil.

  If the valve won't shut off, consider these possibilities: * If you hear a clicking sound, the solenoid valve is likely dirty. If there's no clicking sound, check the solenoid valve. * If water is leaking through, the solenoid valve is dirty and needs servicing. * The sensor distance might be too long. * The control module could be defective. * The manual override button might be sticking.
