8.6 Monitor
Monitor allows the radio to receive more signals including weak signals, and helps you to recognize weak voices in
the speaker.
To switch between Monitor Squelch Mode and Receive Squelch Mode, press the preprogrammed
Monitor
key.
8.7 Talk Around
Talk Around allows you to continue communication in direct mode when the repeater malfunctions or your radio is
out of the coverage of the repeater.
To switch between Direct Mode and Repeater Mode, press the preprogrammed
Talk Around
key.
8.8 BT
To derive optimal communication quality, it is recommended that you use the BT devices approved by
Hytera.
If BT earpieces of other companies are used, you must use them with the wireless ring PTT of Hytera.
Otherwise, transmission is unavailable through the earpieces.
BT enables the radio to connect to a BT device for short-distance communication and data exchange.
To enter the BT interface, do the following:
On the home screen, press the OK/Menu key.
Press the Up key or Down key to select BT, and then press the OK/Menu key.
8.8.1 Enable BT
Press the preprogrammed

In the

interface, press the
Up
key or
Down
key to select
BT
, and then press the
OK/Menu
key.
After BT is enabled, the LED indicator flashes blue once every 3s.
8.8.2 Connect a BT Device
Unpaired Device
Switch the BT device to the pairing status.
For details, refer to the User Manual of the BT device.
In the BT interface, press the Up key or Down key to select Auto Search, and then press the OK/Menu key.
