2. Hold down the PTT key and speak into the microphone.
3. LED glows red while transmitting。
4. Release the PTT key to return to the receive mode. If the Auto Reset Mode is enabled
on the channel, the reset timer will be started. The icon appears on LCD and LED
glows orange.
5. When the transmission is over, hang the microphone on the hook.
Receive a Voice Call
If CTCSS/CDCSS or 5-Tone has been programmed on the current channel by your dealer,
you can only receive calls with matched signalings. If CTCSS/CDCSS or 5-Tone is not set
on the channel, you can hear from all the users on the same channel. Rotate the Volume
Control knob to adjust the volume level.
5-Tone Call
Select the Target Radio ID
You can enter the target radio ID from keypad or select it from the Contact List. If the
target radio ID is involved in the 5-Tone signaling system, you may skip this step.
1. Contact List
The Contact List provides variable address for encoding, and variable address for display
after successful decoding.
Operations
Press [P4] to enter the option when CONTACT appears on LCD.
Press [▲]/[▼] to select different items.
Press [P3] to toggle between alias and numbers.
Press the numeric keys to input specific numbers. [P2] can be used to delete the last digit.
Press [P4] to select the item when it is displayed.
2. Status List
The status list provides variable status for encoding, and variable status for display after
successful decoding.
