Look Back
The radio looks back during the scan pause.
1. The scan pauses on a non-priority channel
While the scan pauses on non-priority channel, radio still checks for activity on the priority
channel once the preset timer expires.
2. The scan pauses on the Priority Channel 2
The Priority Channel 1 enjoys priority than the Priority Channel 2. While the scan pauses
on the Priority Channel 2, radio still checks for activity on the Priority Channel 1 once the
preset timer expires.
3. Look back time
The radio looks back while in the stable status of hang up status only, except for the
following circumstances:
Radio is transmitting.
The scan pauses on the Priority Channel 1.
SelCall waiting.
Call alert status, i.e., the radio status after the call is received.
Off hook status.
Priority Channel Scan
A scan list may be set with one or two priority channels. Radio monitors more frequently
and keeps an update on the activities on priority channels.
When the scan pauses on non-priority channel, radio still checks for activity on the priority
channel at configured intervals, and jumps to the priority channel if signal is detected on it.
While the scan pauses on the Priority Channel 2, radio still checks for activity on the
Priority Channel 1 at configured intervals, and jumps to the Priority Channel 1 if signal is
detected on it. Radio will emit preset alert if the scan goes to the priority channel.
