2. If Live is selected for the optional parameter “Phone System Dialing Mode” in the
telegram, the radio will enter the Live Dial Mode if the Auto Reset Mode is started
after the telegram transmission. DIGITS appears on LCD.
Note: A keypad microphone provided by the manufacturer or dealer is necessary for the
Live Dial function
Dial Speed
Your dealer can set the digit duration and interval of the Buffer Dial and Live Dial
respectively to specify the speed of DTMF digit dial.
A fixed interval time between digits reduces false decoder operation. The default of digit
duration is 50 ms.
Min/Max Digit Duration
Your dealer can set the minimum or maximum digit duration for Live Dial. When a numeric
key is pressed, the corresponding DTMF is transmitted. The transmission duration is
determined by the set minimum or maximum digit duration.
Emergency Alarm
Emergency Start
The Emergency key is programmable by your dealer.
Ways to enable the Emergency Alarm function:
1. Press the Emergency key (programmable by your dealer as long press or short
press) to enter the Emergency mode.
2. Enable the Emergency Alarm function in the Lone Worker mode. Please refer to the
“Lone Worker” section for details.
Emergency Exit
The radio will return to the previous working channel after exiting from the Emergency
mode.
