Off Hook Decode
If the function is enabled by your dealer, CTCSS/CDCSS signalings are valid no matter
whether the microphone is on the hook; otherwise CTCSS/CDCSS signalings are invalid
in the Off Hook mode.
Time-Out Timer (TOT)
Set for each channel independently, and this is available to all valid channels. None of the
timers relating to the TOT function have memory function and all of them will reset when
the channel is switched or when the radio restarts. The TOT function is disabled when the
radio is in the Emergency mode. Auto transmission as auto response has no effect on
TOT.
Tx Time Out Time
TOT is used to prevent user from transmitting on the same channel for extended period of
time. This also protects the radio from damage caused by long time transmission. If the
continuous transmission period exceeds the preset time (programmable by your dealer:
Infinite, 1-255 seconds), the transmission will be suspended and an alert tone will sound.
Release the PTT key to terminate the alert tone.
Note: The TOT time of the radio is Infinite by default. Please contact your dealer if you
want to change it.
TOT Pre-Alert Time
When this function is activated, the radio will sound the TOT pre-alert tone when the TOT
pre-alert time (programmable by your dealer: Off or 1-10 seconds before the TOT
expiration) expires.
TOT Re-key Time
When this function is activated, the transmission will be suspended if the transmission
duration exceeds the time limitation, until the TOT re-key time (programmable: Off, 1-10
seconds) expires.
