4.3 Replacing the control board
After you replace the control board in the appliance, you will need to program some settings using
the IBCconnect app.
To replace the control board:
1. Unplug all the connectors from the control board.
2.
Remove the four screws securing the control board to the appliance, and set them aside for
the replacement board. In the next step, you will separate the humidity sensor strip from the
main replacement control board using a scoring knife.
3.
Place the replacement board on a flat surface, and using the knife, score a straight line
between the main board and the humidity sensor strip. The strip should snap off by hand,
without force.

4. Secure the replacement board in place with the four screws.
5.
Insert the humidity sensor strip into the side slit of the black insulation foam, until the 5 pins
engage in the board's 5-pin connector (see below), and secure the strip with a plastic zip tie.
