Replacing the air baffle in a 5105-22E, 9008-22L, 9009-22A, 9009-22G, 9223-22H, or 9223-22S
system
Use this procedure to replace the air baffle in a 5105-22E, IBM Power System L922 (9008-22L), IBM
Power System S922 (9009-22A and 9009-22G), IBM Power System H922 (9223-22H), or IBM Power
System H922S (9223-22S) server.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Replace each air baffle (A) straight down into the chassis.
See Figure 29 on page 44. When an air baffle is upside-down, hold the detachable drive cover to
prevent it from coming loose.
