Set the system unit's Power switch

On. You should
hear one short beep after the memory is checked. This
will take between
13
and 90 seconds, depending
on
the
amount of memory installed.
If
you have a diskette drive installed, it
is
normal to
hear motor noise and see the In-Use light
on
for a short
time.
