Why does the displayed frequency not change properly on my Icom Transceiver?

  If the displayed frequency on your Icom Transceiver isn't changing as expected, there are a few potential causes. First, check if the dial lock function is activated. If it is, simply push the [LOCK/SPCH] button to turn it OFF. Another possibility is that you might be in a set mode screen. To exit this, push the [MENU] button several times. Finally, if neither of those solutions work, the internal CPU may have malfunctioned, requiring a reset.
