SELCALL/ALE OPERATION

D Simple Selcall operation
The Simple Selcall mode is convenient to transmit the
often used Selcalls.
q Push [ ] to enter the Simple Selcall mode.
• Depending on the Entry, the contents are skipped.
Holding down [ ] enters the normal Selcall mode.
See pages 19 to 28 for the normal Selcall operation de-
tails.
w After setting is finished, push [r] or [s] to select
the Channel.
• Only the channels that belong to the selected Network,
are displayed.
• If desired, push [Tests](§§) to transmit the Channel Test
call in this step.
e Push [ ] to transmit the Call.
• While calling, push [ ] or [PTT] to cancel the call.
 Depending on the Entry, following settings are required.
(4 : Setting is required. — : The contents is skipped.)
