Quick Reference
• Sending a NET call
q Hold down [ ] for 1 second to enter the Network
selection screen.
w Push [r] or [s] to select the desired Network, and
then push [ ].
• The Networks that belong to the ALE system must be
selected.
e Push [r] or [s] to select the Call Type to “NET
Call.”
• “Individual,” “NET Call,” “Individual AMD,” “NET AMD,”
“Sounding” “Individual Update LQA,” “NET Update LQA,”
“Unlink Individual AMD,” and “Unlink NET AMD” are select
-
able.
r Push [r] or [s] to select the NET ID, and then push
[ ].
• Only the IDs that belong to the Network selected in step
w, are displayed.
t Push [r] or [s] to select the Self ID, then push
[ ].
• Only the IDs that belong to the Network selected in step
w, are displayed.
y Push [r] or [s] to select the Channel.
• Only the channels that belong to the Network selected in
step w, are displayed.
• If <Auto> is selected, the transceiver sequentially trans-
mits on channels that belong to the Network in the LQA
order.
u Push [ ] to transmit the NET Call.
• While calling, push [ ] or [PTT] to cancel the call.
• After calling, the transceiver waits for a response.
i After all the stations’ slot time in the Network has
past, the caller transceiver automatically transmits
the Acknowledgement.
• The call is saved in the Call Out memory.
• After an ALE call
➥ After an ALE call is finished, push [ ] to transmit
the disconnect call.
• If the “Auto Start Type” item of “Setmode” is set to “Scan”
or “Termination,” the Call automatically disconnects after
the Auto Start Wait Time period has past with no opera-
tion.
