is

Beep
function
is
turned
OFF.

[SQUELCH]
is
rotated
too
far
clockwise.

Antenna
feedline
or
the
antenna
connector
sol-
der
has
poor
contact
or
is
short
circuited.
*
Transmission
is
restricted
on
some
channels.
*
Different
channel
group
is
selected.

Backlight
function
is
turned
OFF.
*
No
“TAG”
channels
are
programmed.

Check
the
power
cord
connection.

Check
the
polarity
of
the
power
connection,
then,
replace
the
fuse.

Push

function

cradle.
