7-pin plug connects a GPS receiver for transmission of po-
sition data and time.
Acceptable command: GAA
Acceptable format: NMEA0183 ver. 1.5, 2.0 or 2.1

w DC POWER CONNECTOR
Connects the supplied DC power cable from this connec-
tor to an external 12 V DC power source.
e ANTENNA CONNECTOR
Connects a marine VHF antenna with a PL-259 connec-
tor to the transceiver.
CAUTION: Transmitting without an antenna will damage
the transceiver.
r EXTERNAL SPEAKER JACK
t MICROPHONE HANGER
Connects to the transceiver’s ground. Resting the micro-
phone on the hanger automatically selects channel 16.
