Pay attention to the following points when installing the IC-R7000:
•
Avoid placing the IC-R7000 in direct sunlight, and in places subject
to high temperatures, humidity, dust, or excessive vibration.
• Also, be sure to allow ample space at the rear panel for installation
of the power cable and coaxial cables.
When using
the supplied AC power cable to connect the IC-R7000
to a AC outlet, refer to the diagram for instructions.

Choose an appropriate antenna that meets your receiving require-
ments, making sure it matches the frequency band you wish to
receive in.
An exceptional antenna with super wideband range capability is the
AH-7000 SUPER WIDEBAND OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA.
It completely matches the bandwidth of the IC-R7000, covering
bands
between 25 and 1300MHz.
When installing an antenna, make sure it is positioned in a high place
away
from TV antennas, electric light leads, telephone lines, and
other buildings.
