1.12 HIU DIMENSIONS, SERVICES & CLEARANCES
HIU Dimensions, Services & Clearances
The HIU connections are made on to the HIU rst x kit valve
connection tails.
These are to be connected by suitable piping diameters. Please
see table overleaf for reference.
A clearance around the unit is required of at least:
Top 100mm
Sides 20mm
Bottom of wall bracket 80mm
Front Clearance
The minimum front clearance when built into a cupboard is
25mm from the outward opening cupboard door.
600mm overall clearance is still required with a cupboard door
open, to allow for servicing.
Bottom Clearance
The bottom clearance from the underside of the wall bracket
should be a minimum of 80mm in order to allow access to the
HIU isolation valves and the CH lling loop system.
