CONTROLUNIT.Byorienting/aligningthewireleadsofthebatteryandcontrol
unitsothey’re‘redtored’and‘blacktoblack’you’llbeabletomakethe
connectionwithcorrectpolarity
Also,althoughthe‘JST’connectorsare‘keyed’tominimizetheriskofareverse
polarityconnection,ifyouforcethemitispossibletomakeconnectionwith
incorrect/reversedpolaritypotentiallycausingdamagetothecontrolunitand/or
battery.Whentheconnectorsareproperlyalignedforcorrectpolarity,
connectingthemshouldrequire
onlyaminimalamountofpressuretoachieve
thelight‘click’thatindicatessecureconnection.
WiththeLiPoflightbatteryconnectedtothecontrolunittheLEDindicators(on
thecontrolunit)willtypicallyblinkredthree(3)timesthenblinkgreenthree
(3)times.

toomuchwhiletheLEDis
blinkinggreenitmayaffectinitialization/calibration
ofthegyrowhichcouldrequiresignificantruddertrimadjustmentsand/or
preventthegyrofromworkingduringthependingflight.Ifthishappensyou
mustdisconnectthebatteryfromthecontrolunitandrepeatthe
initialization/calibrationprocess.
