TheEvolve300CXisequippedwithacompactandadvanced3‐in‐1controlunit.Thecontrol
unitisalightweightcombinationoftwoelectronicspeedcontrols(ESCs),amixerandgyro.
It’salsoequippedwithagyrogaintrimmerpot,proportionalmixtrimmerpotandLEDsthat
providevarious
indications.

Thischecklistincludesthestepsyoumustfollowtoensureproperinitialization,armingand
operationofthecontrolunit:


BeforeeachflightyoumustALWAYSturnthetransmitteronBEFORE
connectingtheLiPoflightbatterytothecontrolunit.Neverconnectthebattery
tothecontrolunitbeforepoweringthetransmitteronfirst.Andaftereach
flightyoushouldalwaysdisconnectthebatteryfromthecontrolunitbefore
turningthe
transmitteroff.


Theleft‐hand/throttlestickANDthethrottletrimlevermustbesetintheir
lowestpossiblepositionsinorderforthecontrolunittoinitialize/armproperly.
Failuretolowerthestickandtrimlevertothelowestpossiblepositionscan
preventtheESCsfromarmingand/orthegyrofrominitializingproperly.



TurnthetransmitteronandconfirmthattheLEDindicatorblinksrapidlythen
glowssolidredwhiletheLCDscreenpowersontodisplaythevoltageoftheAA
batteries.

