stabilizerflybartothemainrotorbladegrips.Carefullydisconnecttheballlink/linkagefrom
thecontrolball
onmainrotorbladegripthentwisttheballlinkclockwiseone‐halfturnto
adjust(shorten)thelengthofthelinkage.Re‐connecttheballlink/linkagetothecontrolball
onthemainrotorbladegripthencheckthetrackingagain.
Ifthetrackingisbettercontinuetotwisttheballlinkclockwiseone‐halforone‐fullturnata
timeuntilthetipsoftheuppermainrotorbladesaretrackinginthesameplane.
Ifthetrackingisworseaftertwistingtheballlinkclockwisethentwistitcounterclockwise
one‐fullturn(tostart),thenone‐halftoone‐fullturnatatime,untilthetipsoftheupper
mainrotorbladesaretrackinginthesameplane.
Typically,notmuchadjustmentshouldbenecessarytoproperlytrackthetipsoftheupper
mainrotorblades.Also,insomecasesitmaynotbepossibletoachieveperfecttracking.
However,thehelicopterwillstillperformwellaslongasthetrackingisadjustedascloselyas
possible.
NOTE:Itisnottypicallynecessarytocheck/adjusttrackingofthelowermainrotorbladesas
thecorrespondinglinkagesarefactory‐settoequallengthsandthecorrectoveralllengthto
ensurepropertracking.
