Aftermakingtheproperconnectionsit’sagoodideatotestthecontrolsbeforeinstallingthe
receiver.Pleaseseethe‘FlightControlsandTrimming’and‘CollisionAvoidanceTechnology’
sectionsofthismanualformoreinformation.
IMPORTANTNOTE:Westronglyrecommendtodisconnectthewireleads/connectorsfor
BOTHmotorsfromthe3in1controlunitwhenevertestingthecontrols.Makenoteofthe
positionsandpolaritiesofthewireleads/connectorsbeforedisconnectingtheminorderto
ensureyoucanreconnectthemforproperoperationafter
thecontroltestiscompleteand
beforeproceedingwithyourfirstflight.
Afterconfirmingthecontrolsarerespondingproperly,carefullyroutethereceiverandwire
leadsintothenoseofthehelicopterandmountthereceivertothetrayusingthetwosided
foamtape.Inmostcasesitwill
typicallybebesttoroutethereceiverandwireleadsthrough
theopeninginthebottomofthebody,butinsomecases(dependingonthesize/shapeof
thereceiverandtheavailablelengthofthewireleads)itmaybepossibletoroutethem
throughoneofthe‘window’
openingsonthesidesofthebody.
Withthereceivermountedonthetrayensurethatallconnectionsaresecureandthatthe
antenna(s)andwireleadsareclearofanymovingparts,electronicsorother
components/partsthatcoulddamagethemand/orhaveanegativeeffectontheradio
systemperformance,
range,etc.Werecommendreferringtotheinstructionmanualforthe
receiverand/ortransmitterformoreinformation.
