Installing and Replacing Backup Battery
Your new alarm clock includes 1 CR2032 button cell battery (installed). Pull the battery pull tab before
using the unit. This battery backup system will maintain the time and alarm settings during a tempo-
rary power interruption. When the Battery Low Indicator on the lower right of the display is flashing,
it’s time to replace the battery.
1. Keep unit connected to AC power when changing batteries to avoid losing your settings.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery door.
3. Remove the battery door.
4. Remove the exhausted battery. Install 1 fresh CR2032 battery. Make sure the + polarity marking
is facing you.
5. Replace the battery door and tighten the screw. Do not over-tighten
NOTE: With battery installed, the display will remain and the clock will continue to run and maintain
your alarm settings and the alarm will sound.
Do not dispose of battery in household trash. Make sure to dispose of battery in accordance with
local regulations.
