The power supply cord is
not plugged in to the power
socket.
Connect the plug to a socket which complies with the technical specifi cations
indicated in the data plate “M” under the base of the machine.

The main on/o switch “G”
is positioned on “0”.
Position the main on/o switch “G” on “I”.
The machine does not
brew
coee.
No water in the tank. Fill tank “L” with water
The capsule is not inserted
in the capsule compartment.
Insert a capsule in the capsule compartment “B”.
The capsule inserted does
not dispense
coee.
Remove the capsule by disengaging and lifting the lever “A” and collect it from
the capsule tray “D”. Close the capsule compartment “B” and dispense a small
quantity of water. Insert the capsule again and start brewing.
The moveable part of the
top of the machine is not
completely closed.
Lift the lever “A” and make sure that you have inserted the capsule correctly.
Lower the moving part and lock by lowering the lever “A”. Press the or
buttons to brew co ee.
The or buttons
have not been
pressed.
Touch the or button again.
The water tank has not been
correctly inserted.
Check that the water tank “L” is completely inserted.
Internal components with
scale buildup
Descale the machine as described in the related paragraph.
The pump did not prime. Try to dispense water without inserting the capsule into the compartment “B”.
Water leaks out. Incorrect type of capsule. Make sure that you are using an “Iperespresso” capsule for household use iden-
tifi ed by the “Ground coee single-dose capsule for household use” label on
the package.
Machine in power save
mode.
Turn on the machine by tapping either or buttons.
Touch the or button again to start brewing.
