Recommended Separation Distances between Portable and Mobile
RF Communications Equipment and the Guardio Charger
Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile RF
communications equipment and the Guardio Charger
The Guardio Charger should be used in an electromagnetic environment with limited
radiated RF noise. The customer or user of the Guardio Charger can help prevent
electromagnetic interference by maintaining the minimum distance between portable and
mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the Guardio Charger
recommended below, which is determined by the maximum output power of the
communications equipment.

For transmitters with a maximum rated output power not listed above, the recommended
separation distance “d” in meters (m) can be estimated by using the equation applicable
to the frequency of the transmitter, where “P” is the maximum rated output power of the
transmitter in watts (W) specified by the transmitter manufacturer.

At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
Note: These guidelines may not apply to all settings. Electromagnetic propagation is
affected by absorption and reflection from buildings, objects, and people.
