How to troubleshoot poor sensitivity in Inficon 3000 Micro GC Measuring Instruments?

If the Inficon Measuring Instruments shows poor sensitivity, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the carrier gas is supplying pressure between 78 and 82 PSI. Exceeding 82 PSI may damage the device. Also, check for any external leaks using a leak detector and tighten all fittings and connections. Make sure that the instrument has warmed up for at least 3 minutes. Conduct 10 runs and calibrate on the last run. In the EZ IQ software, verify that the Sample Pump time is at least 15 seconds (increase to 30-60 seconds if sufficient sample is available), and increase the Inject Time. If applicable, increase the Backflush Time until all peaks of interest appear on the chromatogram. To address potential contamination, run a bakeout to clean the columns.
