Any connected
temperature sensor
measures >43°C.
When this alarm state
is initiated, the unit
will automatically shut-
down in 1 minute.
Operator can press the
power button to turn
the unit OFF before
the unit automatically
shuts down.
Operator must
disconnect faulty
accessory and then
restart the device.
This alarm does not
require multiple failure
modes to have occurred.
However, it should only
occur as a result of:
Failure of warming
system and failure of the
mattress cut-out
or
failure of temperature
feedback circuit (e.g.
mattress thermistor).
Cut all power to
warming system.
Contact technical
support for repair.
Channel with
error flashes amber
with warning
triangle icon.
Visual : AMBER
(LOW)
Audible : LOW
No current is drawn
by the accessory
and measured
temperature of the
accessory is >39°C.
User must detach the
accessory from the
channel reporting the
error.
Repeated occurrence
indicates fault with
the accessory.
The alarm active icon
will appear on-screen
and may be used to
pause the audible
alarm.
Thermal cut-out in the
accessory is open.
N.B. This alarm may also
be triggered if the fuse
protection on the output
channel has blown.
Wait for
accessory
temperature to
drop and the
cut-out to close.
Contact technical
support for repair/
replacement
of accessory.
Channel with
error flashes amber
with warning
triangle icon.
Visual : AMBER
(LOW)
Audible : LOW
Accessory thermistor
reading outside
permissible range.
User must detach the
accessory from the
channel reporting the
error.
The alarm active icon
will appear on-screen
and may be used to
pause the audible
alarm.
Failure/degradation of
mattress thermistor.
This alarm will operate if;
1) The mattress
thermistor is out of
range,
or,
2) The mattress does not
draw current and the
mattress temperature
is lower than 39°C.
Cut power to
accessory with
out of range
measurement.
AlphaCore
5
Controller
continues to
operate remaining
accessories.
