    • Z
      zsmallSep 2, 2025
If the float valve on your Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker does not rise, remove it from the lid and clean it thoroughly, including the silicone cap, to remove any food debris. Add thin, water-based liquid to the inner pot based on size: 3 Qt - 1 cup, 6 Qt - 1 1/2 cups, 8 Qt - 2 cups. Install or replace the float valve if the silicone cap is damaged or missing. Tap the float valve with a long utensil if it is obstructed. If the float valve still does not drop, turn the cooker off. Perform “Initial Test Run” to check for function and record findings. Contact Customer Care if needed. Also, contact Customer Care if there is no heat in the inner pot or if the inner pot base may be damaged.
