Q35 Express Chipset
The Intel Q35 Express Chipset consists of the following devices:
• Intel Q35 Express Chipset Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) with Direct
Media Interface (DMI)
• Intel 82801IDO I/O Controller Hub (ICH9DO) with DMI
The GMCH component provides interfaces to the processor, memory, PCI Express bus,
and the DMI interconnect. The component also provides integrated graphics
capabilities supporting 3D, 2D, and display capabilities.
ICH9DO is a centralized controller for the board’s I/O paths.
