Video loss alarms
To define video loss alarm:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Events > Video Loss.
2. Check the Enable Video Loss Detection checkbox to enable the video loss
detection.
3. Click Edit to set the arming schedule for the video loss alarm. See “Motion detection
alarms” on page 33 for more information.
4. Select the linkage method to be used for the video loss. The options are:
Normal Linkage: Notify Alarm Recipient, Send Email, Upload Snapshot, Trigger
Channel
Other Linkage: Trigger Alarm Output. The options are: Select All, A->1, A->2
5. Click Save to save changes.
Alarm inputs and outputs
To define an external alarm input:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Configuration > Events > Alarm Input.
2. Select the Alarm Input No. and the Alarm Type. The alarm type can be NO
(Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed). Enter a name for the alarm input.
