  If your Intex Water Pump filter isn't effectively cleaning the pool, consider the following: * Ensure proper chlorine and pH levels. Adjust as necessary. * Make sure there is filtering media in the tank; load with filter sand. * Verify the 6-way valve setting position is set to “FILTER”. * If the pool is excessively dirty, operate the filter for longer periods. * If there is dirt or sand on the pool floor, use an Intex pool vacuum to clean the bottom of the pool. * If the basket is restricting the water flow, clean the basket.

  To fix a leaking hose on your Intex Water Pump: * Ensure the hose nut is securely tightened or reinstall it. * Check that the hose connection fitting o-ring/L-shape o-ring is in place and undamaged.

  If the 6-way valve or cover is leaking on your Intex Water Pump: * Remove the 6-way valve cover and ensure the o-ring is in place. * Clean the sand tank o-ring with garden hose water if it's dirty. * Tighten the flange clamp with the wrench supplied.

What does it mean if there are white flakes in the water when using Intex ECO 20110?

  If you observe white flakes in the water while using your Intex Water Pump, it indicates excessive calcium hardness. To address this, drain about 20 to 25% of the pool water and add fresh water to decrease the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if necessary.

Why does my Intex ECO 20110 have insufficient chlorine?

  If your Intex Water Pump shows insufficient chlorine, consider these factors: * Chlorine loss may be due to intense sunlight exposure. Use a pool cover when the pool is not in use or when the unit is operating. * If the bather load has increased, increase the daily Saltwater System operating time. * A clogged or dirty electrolytic cell can cause this issue. Remove the cell for inspection and clean it if necessary. * High UV level exposure may be the cause. Cover the pool with a pool cover for 2 days with the device running, then test the water using the test strips.

  If sand is flowing back into the pool from your Intex Water Pump: * Ensure you are using only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75, as the sand may be too small. * The sand bed might be calcified; if so, change the sand.
