3.2Intendeduse
Thepediatricwheelchairisintendedtoprovidemobilityto
personslimitedtoasittingposition,whoarepropellingthe
wheelchairthemselvesfrequently.
Thewheelchairisintendedforpersonsages2andup
(childrenandadolescents).Theweightofthewheelchair
occupantmustnotexceedthemaximumuserweightas
statedintheTechnicalDatasectionandontheidentication
label.
Theintendeduseristhewheelchairoccupantand/oran
assistant.
Theusershouldphysicallyandmentallybeabletousethe
wheelchairsafely(e.g.topropel,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairmaybeusedindoorsandoutdoorsonlevel
groundandaccessibleterrain.
Indications
•Considerabletocompleteimpairmentofmobilitydue
tostructuraland/orfunctionaldamagetothelower
extremities.
•Sufcientstrengthandgrippingfunctionofarmsand
handstopropelthewheelchair.
Therearenocontraindicationsknown,whenusingthe
wheelchairasintended.
