Checking the Battery Charge
Check that your TIGER XTL has sufficient charge for use. The battery icon should show at least two
full segments. If not, the instrument should be charged to at least this level before use.
TIGER XTL instruments leave the factory with their Rechargeable Battery Pack
30% charged. We recommend charging the instrument for seven hours before
first use.
A non-rechargeable AA Battery Pack can also be used, but it is recommended that it only be used if
no power is available to recharge the Rechargeable Battery Pack.
Set Alarm Levels
We recommend that alarm levels are set to user specifications as soon as possible before the TIGER
XTL is first used. See Alarms for details.
